Posted by Brian Mulligan on 12/13/2012 5:53:16 PM

What: Cashcall Futurity
Who: He’s Had Enough (key in trifecta first and second with Carving, Fury Kapcori, Violence, Dirty Swagg and Den’s Legacy)
Where: Betfair Hollywood Park
When: Saturday, December 15

The accent will be a look to the future as the best juveniles in the West line up Saturday for the $750,000 CashCall Futurity at 8 and a half furlongs.

Bob Baffert, who has won three of the last 4 renewals of this event, is again loaded for bear with four horse betting starters in the race.

The future look about this betting sites race is that 6 winners have gone on win the Kentucky Derby including Ferdinand, Alysheba and Baffert’s Real Quiet.

Formerly named the Hollywood Futurity, other stars that have won this event include Snow Chief, A.P. Indy, Best Pal and Point Given.

Last year Baffert saddled Liaison, who was troubled in his racing debut, used the Real Quiet Stakes as a prep before coming from 2 and a half lengths off the pace to win the CashCall by a neck with a 91 Beyer. He clipped heels in his 2012 debut and has not raced since.

Carving will be trying to use the same stepping-stone as Liaison Saturday. The runner was dueled into submission in his only off effort but should sit a nice stalk and pounce trip.

Simon Eyes posted a solid best of the morning work over the surface on Tuesday but with only a maiden win, could be the odd man out.

Den’s Legacy must prove he can handle this surface. He shows up and tries hard every time.

Really Mr. Greeley figures to be sent hard by Baffert but the breeding on the bottom side is sprint and he was losing ground late in last.

Title Contender might be yelling ‘Stella, ‘Stella down the lane but he got away with a pretty soft pace in the lone win and could have a hard time keeping up.

Violence has taken no prisoners so far. Trainer Todd Pletcher doesn’t ship unless he is serious and the colt was agile enough to overcome trouble in the debut.

He’s Had Enough gets plenty of speed to look at in front of him to post his patented kick. He is bred to go on, didn’t get the best of trips BC Day and should be picking them up and laying them down.

The Oxbow Incident was a decent movie but this guy is sneaking into this theater as just a maiden winner.

Little Jerry won long at first asking and that is not easy. His trainer, Richard Baltas, knows what to do with a good horse.

Fury Kapcori was forced to steady in last and has much more speed than he just showed.

Dirty Swagg has trained fast since recording his best local effort. And trainer Cho has had runners run big in stakes when seemingly in tough in the past.

He’s Had Enough showed he doesn’t have to come from the sports betting clouds in last and he should get first run on the deep closers here. With several runners in here likely to vie for the top, key him on top with Carving, Fury Kapcori, Violence, Dirty Swagg and Den’s Legacy and hope to get lucky.
