Breeders Cup Betting Online - Breeder’s Cup Update

Posted by Brian Mulligan on 9/23/2012 6:14:14 PM

In these furious days before the Breeders’ Cup online betting sites players should hone in and pay attention to the human element and which trainers are focusing directly on getting paid on BC Day.

Enter the underrated Ron Ellis, who is based in California. Although Ellis looks young, he has been in the game for decades and has positioned himself very well with a few runners coming into the closing days before the Cup.

He has used the ‘Win and You’re In’ Challenge series to quality three different horses for the Cup and this not only moves the horse into a position to succeed but it works exceptionally well for the owners too.

Those that win the designated Challenge races will have their entry fees paid for their respective races and their winning connections will receive $10,000 in travel expenses and $20,000 if coming from Europe.

This translates into a free shot at glory and it can’t be underestimated.

Ellis has qualified Rail Trip for the BC Dirt Mile, Include Me Out for the Ladies Classic and Casino Host for the BC Turf.

Rail Trip has always teased of talent. He has won multiple Grade 2 races in his career, has won 9 of his 21 starts and has only been out of the exacta 6 times. His ideal stalking style will give him first run on any of the deep closers.

Include Me Out took awhile to figure it out but once she was given a route of ground to negotiate, she blossomed quickly. She has won multiple Grade 1 races this year, has only lost once this horse betting season and is repeatedly proven at Santa Anita.

Her trainer on the BC site, Ellis: “The key to her was getting her around two turns and when we did she really came around quickly. She’s by Include so you would think two turns and stretching her out would really fit and it has. She’s got some big races over the Santa Anita track so we’re looking forward to the Ladies Classic.

Casino Host is extremely versatile and has run very well at a number of different venues. The son of Dynaformer has a nice turn of late foot and has trained well since winning the Grade 2 Del Mar Handicap despite going wide.

Kiaran McLaughlin also appears loading for bear for the Cup. He trains Questing, who almost was sent back to her breeder this spring but she woke up in an optional claimer, then freaked taking the Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks.

Alpha continues to improve and is pointing for the Classic while his trainees It’s Tricky, Emcee and Fortify all have their eye on the BC prize.

It’s Tricky has had some troubled races but is a monster with her A game. Emcee opened September winning a Grade 2 at Saratoga and will likely train up to the Cup while Fortify looked nothing like a non starter when he acted so professionally winning his debut and then was bothered early in the Hopeful and had to settle for second money.

The son of Distorted Humor is no joke and the blood is there since if you go deep into his pedigree you’ll find three runners that banked over $400,000 including the Grade 1 winner Prospectors Delite.

Online sports betting players have to pay attention to connections and how they are pointing to the Cup to seek out winning clues.
