Only the strong survive in the mile and a half Turf and it’s importance is identified by the $3 million purse.

A cool million and a half will be in the pot for the fastest runners in the world in the sure to be great Sprint next up at 6 furlongs.

The Mile brings together the best at 8 furlongs on both sides of the pond and they will be racing for a $2 million purse.

The granddaddy of them all, the Classic, will bring the curtain down on the extravaganza at about 5:35 and they will all be trying to beat Game on Dude.

Dude has won 7 of his 8 starts at Santa Anita, has recorded 6 straight triple digit Beyer Speed Figures since his defeat in the Classic last year including a 113 digit in his last effort.

As far as the wagering is concerned, there will be $10 million in guaranteed gross pools over the 2 days so there will be chances to get a life changer.
